Terms of Use
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These are the terms for using Brifo, the AI meeting notes app for macOS at brifo.in.
1. Beta status
Brifo is in public beta right now. The Service is provided "as is", with no warranties of any kind. Features can change, break, or disappear without notice. That's the trade-off for getting in early.
2. Your use
- Only record meetings where you have the legal right to do so. Check your local wiretap laws if you're not sure.
- Don't use Brifo to impersonate someone, harass people, stalk anyone, or invade anyone's privacy.
- Don't try to reverse engineer the app, resell access to it, or get around paid features (if and when we add them).
3. Content ownership
Your transcripts, notes, and action items belong to you. By using Brifo, you grant us a limited license to process that content for the purpose of running the Service. For example, sending the transcript to our AI Agent so it can generate the notes you asked for.
4. Third-party services
Brifo connects to Google (for sign-in and Calendar) and Jira. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms. We're not responsible for any of them going down, changing how they work, or anything else outside our app.
5. Account termination
You can delete your account anytime by emailing hello@brifo.in. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Brifo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages that come from your use of the Service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email.
